GLEC Leadership Team Building
GLEC is a special education cooperative intended to assist local school districts with a range of services to improve efforts in supporting positive outcomes for students with disabilities. This series of three virtual workshops and individual coaching calls to each participant focused on team building and individual strengths.
JCPS DEP Teacher Residency Program
JCPS DEP Louisville Teacher Residency creates a diverse teacher workforce that transforms educational outcomes of all students through courageous conversations, racially equitable instruction, culturally responsive teaching, and meaningful reflection. LTR is a one-year, urban teacher-preparation program for individuals with limited to no teaching experience. This virtual conference session focused on building relationships virtually with students, families, and colleagues.
U of L’s Office of Student Affairs
The Office of Student Affairs promotes student growth and leadership by providing opportunities that enrich and support students’ academic experiences, improve retention and graduation, and enhance the quality of students’ lives, while equipping them to lead in a diverse, multicultural world. This virtual workshop for staff focused on inclusion, representation, and allyship.
KY YMCA Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Training
The Kentucky YMCA Youth Association serves as the home of Kentucky’s YMCA Youth and Government programs that provide middle school, high school, and college students across the Commonwealth with opportunities for service learning, civic engagement, and personal development. This virtual diversity, equity, & inclusion training for staff focused on inclusion & allyship.
Engage Lead Serve Board
The Engage Lead Serve Board’s mission is to foster a diverse community of students that encourage each other to grow as servant leaders and active citizens through community engagement, active service, and thoughtful leadership. This virtual training with the executive board focused on inclusion, belonging and allyship.
EDTP 633: Integrated Teaching & Learning Course
This course master’s level course offered at the University of Louisville is designed for first-year teacher candidates enrolled in an alternative certification program. This virtual guest lecture event provided new practicing teachers with technological tools to building virtual relationships with k-12 students and families.

Greater Louisville Education Cooperative is a special education cooperative in Kentucky that assists local school districts in supporting positive outcomes for students with disabilities. This virtual conference was provided students with post-secondary information on employability skills, employment opportunities, and college resources to support students’ future aspirations.

Hacks for ACT Registration
Training sponsored by Jefferson County Public Schools District’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department to support school administrator overcome barriers that prevent students from accessing the ACT test.
KACE Conference 2019
The KACE Conference is hosted by Kentucky Association of Colleges and Employers (KACE) to provide Kentucky colleges, universities, technical institutes, and employers to improve networking opportunities and stay up-to-date on best practices through the organization’s professional development.
Poverty Simulation
This Poverty Simulation was hosted in partnership with Humana to provide employees with an interactive immersion experience to help bridge the gaps from poverty misconceptions to understanding.
Motivational Speaking
Various high schools, churches, and youth organizations have requested a motivational speaking event to motivate, energize, and inspire youth and young adults. The most requested topics are overcoming adversity, academic success, pursing post-secondary education, employability skills, and faith.
Student Organization for Alumni Relations (SOAR)
SOAR enhances the student experience by cultivating relationships between students and prominent alumni, builds professional skills, promotes philanthropy initiatives, and works to build and preserve the traditions of the University of Louisville.
Spring Research Conference
The Spring Research Conference is jointly sponsored by the University of Cincinnati, the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville. The purpose of the conference is to provide researchers with an opportunity to present research proposals in a friendly, yet formal, setting and to get constructive feedback from faculty and colleagues.
